Nicki is a Registered Nurse and the Director of Home Health and Hospice at a small hospital near Yellowstone National Park. She previously taught history at Mississippi State University and the University of West Alabama, and was co-owner of Mister Green Clean, LLC, in Bozeman, Montana. Her first book, A Map of Relief: A Memoir of a Broken Heart, a Road Trip, and the Stories We Hide Behind, is forthcoming. Her second book, Nice Night for Traveling: Disney, Friendship, and the Search for Magic at Midlife, is in development. She lives in Montana and Maine with her husband and two dogs.
